      Had a Kimber. It was a jam-o-matic, good looking gun though. Also try Bel Air Gun Range. They have a bunch of 1911's on the premium end $$$$.

      Personally I would not carry in a hospital. If I knew I was going to a hospital and right back home, I would not carry, at all.       Just spit-balling here but to me that ammo MIGHT have a higher tendency to not feed properly on a particular feed ramp. I would need to fire 500 flawless rounds before I bet my life on it.
