      I will still buy rifles and shotguns...that's how I'll continue to support my local dealer. Make the HQL a license for concealed carry and I'm in.

      So what "final purchases" are you making?

      M1A, AK47 (maybe two), and a few more AR lowers. If I were a rich man, I'd also pickup an FAL and PSL. I will definitely be an avid .308/7.62x51 rifle collector starting next year.

      modified my Stark grip lastnight....

      I hate the Stark grip because of the integrated trigger guard. I like the way it turned out...great job. Makes me want to pick up a used one and do the same.

      I've been reading through some threads here and there seems to be some inconsistency as to what a "folding" stock is defined as. Some people state that a "telescoping" stock falls into the same definition as "folding." However, the verbiage in SB281 has the words "or telescoping" struck out...

      paying taxes to a ffl for item from internet

      When they first opened shop, they didn't charge tax on transfers and their fees were actually competitive. Guess things have changed... I still go to them whenever I'm looking to buy locally. Mark and his staff are great to deal with.

      Wait Time on Paperwork

      Jan 18th with a fellow member at the MSP barrack. He had to CALL earlier this week for them to send it out. Someone forgot to drop it in the mail. He received his copy, still waiting for mine. If you're past the 5-6 week mark, you should probably call them up to make sure it was sent out.
