Anyone here taught a pup to find shed antlers?

I taught mine (a standard poodle) by initially giving him antlers to chew, which he then sniffed out when we went hiking. I'd praise him and give him treats for every one he brought me when we were hiking (even old bones). Worked well, he found a 12-pointer pair a few years ago. Good luck!

      Guide boat fans?

Not as pretty as a guideboat, but for consideration is a classic oared boat for fishing like a dory:

      Guide boat fans?

They're great boats both for rowing and very stable for working/recreation. I built a smaller, similar boat and it rows like a dream. It's a great choice for light crabbing/fishing and to get some exercise too.

PSA: FREE Honey Bee SWARM REMOVAL in Montgomery and Prince Georges

Great question and commonly asked, the website has a good chart: https://montgomerycountybeekeepers.com/2018/01/plants-for-bees/ I am not too good with plants, but do know that crocus, hydrangea (flowers) and redbud and black locust (trees) do well in partly shaded areas

The swarms often look like this and are usually about 10-20 feet up in a tree or under a roof overhang, also if they're in the ground or their nest is exposed, they're probably not bees but wasps/yellow-jackets:

Harford and Cecil county club (Susquehanna Beekeepers) would probably have local beekeepers who would be willing to help: http://www.susquehannabeekeepers.com/index.html

To metallurgist out there: difference between receivers made of 6061, 7075 and 7029

Aircraft parts manufacturer and Materials Engineer here and can confirm Boxcab, Pinecone and Zman covered the subject well. Will only add that 7029 is a high strength alloy approaching the properties of 7075 provided both are tempered (T5/T6/T7) to spec. Cost-wise for raw material, 6061-T6 is...
