I have to admit, I'm a little surprised. I expected a bigger fight.
How can we thank him for taking his oath of office to uphold our constitutional rights? Maybe sending a bunch of mini booklets on the constitution to his office might be a thankful gesture. He definitely deserves some token of our appreciation for his role in firmly establishing these rights.
Strict scrutiny isn't the standard. Means-end evaluation was rejected. Is there THT to apply restrictions to people in pubs during the founding days? I don't know. Does someone lose their 2nd amendment rights just because they had a beer? Sounds like an infringement to me.
I just went through the same project in very similar circumstances. My advice is that you will need far more panel watts that you think you need. They put out less than rated and there is much loss in conversion.
In my case even a 100 watt panel was not sufficient to run a 50 watt 'bird bath...
Obviously I'd prefer to have less of my cake taken, ideally none at all.

It looks like there is no state-level pre-emption for knife laws. A quick google for Baltimore yields City code 59-22:
There doesn't seem to be any exemption for State-issued W&C holders.
