In the world of competition, 40S&W is a USPSA "major" round, so has the more favorable "major" power factor scoring (unlike 9mm, which scores "minor".)

Keep in mind, 25 of the 50 states are already Constitutional carry. I moved to New Hampshire, which is Constitutional carry, as is neighboring states Vermont and Maine. The only state that isn't is Massachusetts, and they are issuing non-resident permits, now. I just mailed in my application...

The Bergaras are designed to accept all Remington 700 pattern rifles, so all accessories (stocks, triggers, scope bases, etc.) fit the B14R. Here's my new lefty. I have a Trigger Tech Diamond trigger on it's way to replace the factory trigger.
The base is a 30MoA Badger Ordnance with Seekins...
