      52 winchesters 8

No, not from here, the Unertl that is on it now is a 14X, it does have the Redfield's and a homemade box also.

      52 winchesters 8

I have used 52's since the late 1960's, they were considered the gold standard of small bore competition at that time. Winchester did a great job of making a competition winning rifle for a long time. The early triggers are good, nice and crisp but can't be adjusted for a low pull weight, rules...

Benelli Quality Control Very Disappointing what say you?

That stock should never have made it onto a gun, should have gone to the burn pile. I've seen stocks with a small single knot but not multiple that go all the way through. I would be disappointed also. I would either return the gun or contact Benelli.

Shotgun Reloading Supplies - Central Maryland

Alliant powders have gone out of sight everywhere, pretty much only using Hodgdon now, I'm waiting for Titewad to come back in stock and then make a trip up there, a month ago when they had Titewad it was 30 to 40 bucks cheaper for an 8lb container than online. If I did not load 1oz for my old...

Shotgun Reloading Supplies - Central Maryland

That's not what I experience, their price for powder and primers is less than anyone else I can find, even online.

Shotgun Reloading Supplies - Central Maryland

I take a run up to Shyda's every 2 years and stock up, I check their website first to make sure they have what I'm looking for in stock. Right now they are out of the cheaper Eagle shot and only showing STS in stock. I will usually buy 10 bags at a time to justify the trip plus get powder and...

      Casual Trap Shooting O/U Shotgun?

Most of the time its a few simple things like not keeping your face on the stock, shooters will lift their head or swing with their arms pushing the stock away from their face.

      Scuba diving anyone?

Thank you, have a bunch of prints, it was tough back then, you only had 36 shots on each dive and was happy to have 10 nice ones when they were developed. I would usually get the first roll developed on Bonaire just to make sure the camera was working, would love to dive again with a digital set up.

      Scuba diving anyone?

Enjoy it, Scuba is a ton of fun, did it for many years, Great Lakes, off Ocean City, North Carolina, Florida Keys, Bonaire, many dives in Bainbridge. Unfortunately I understand a lot of the relatively close quarries are closed now. As far as warm enough for a wetsuit you have to get out in the...

      Casual Trap Shooting O/U Shotgun?

As others stated really not saving much money anymore reloading 12 gauge shot shell, costs of components have doubled, I used to reload for about 3.50 a box and now it's 7.00 a box for 1 oz loads. Only reason I still load is for low pressure shells for my vintage shotguns. Still quite a bit...

      Casual Trap Shooting O/U Shotgun?

If it was me knowing what I know now I would just keep shooting the 870 until you decide you want to shoot more than a few times a year. I would also use it to give Sporting Clays a try, shooting other clay sports may give you an idea on where you want to go as far as shotguns and which clay...

Marlin-Ballard .22? What exactly is this?

Can't help with any details but it's a gorgeous rifle. With the different make barrel and receiver I would think a custom rifle which was common with these type rifles.

Thoughts on Value of Pristine WWII-era Remington Rand 1911A1?

They used to go for 2 to 3k in the box, nowadays who knows if put on auction.

      Ithaca 37

It's a sweet little shotgun, weighs less than 6 pounds and really points well. Shoot a lot of sporting clays with it for fun. Glad I bought it several years ago though as the current price is really steep.
