Not only are less than 3% aware of the new laws, but half of them will forget about it in two weeks, leaving only 3% aware of the new laws.

Certainly less than 3% of MD's population has carry permits.

The remainder would be happy if we ceased to exist.

In a round about way you have made my point there is no legal reason for them to compel by subpoena such information if it's possible to glean it from the logs.(Note to admins if you have access to such logs you ought to be wiping them yourselves given there is no law compelling you keeping them or move the site to a host that wipes them every 24 hours). If they are that desperately reaching for something to pin on you there is nothing stopping them from collecting any amount of hearsay evidence to make a case against you.

I’m sorry but if you think they would honestly subpoena this info from MDS that’s just crazy.
They have better things to do with their time than worry about a few people who may or may not adjust their carry methods after Oct. 1.

I doubt 3% of store management and employees are aware of the law.

There are millions of laws out there, and most people have the wildest misconceptions about them. That's true of everyone, including LEOs.

That's why, at this point, the less said the better. It's like Fight Club.

    Looks pretty explicit to me.

    Proactively , probably not .

After the fact , in conjunction with serious other charges , it's plausible to mine for online statements to show patterns of conduct , and intentions .

    I'm telling ya.

Don't pick your nose in front of the TV either. They can see you doing it.

I've got a suggestion, and a request for graphic help:

For a covert CCW sticker that a business could post that wouldn't alert/piss off most anti folks, how about something that looks like a credit card emblem (think VISA/MasterCard/Amex) in similar size and color, and capital letters inside,
    MDWCP
    Accepted Here

Heck, it could even resemble the WIC or food stamp logo.

I have no skills, and no graphic program to design some samples. Just throwing this out for an idea.

Look at the Walmart sign I posted above in post 106.

Martin's grocery in Eldersburg has a similar sign, but I don't have a decent picture of it.

I must be missing the part that covers CCW. Please help me out.
RIght under the "Pharmacy Hours" section is a note: "Please refrain from openly carrying a firearm."

Thanks for the help. Had to blow the pic up a bit to read it. That's nice, but I'm trying to come up with a stand alone sticker/decal about the size of the old credit card logos, maybe the size of a business card. Subdued colors so as not to attract much attention. Something we could give out free to places we support so they wouldn't have to do anything but agree to put them on their doors.

I bought a Smith & Wesson 340 PD and a diamondback DB9 just for that reason. I have compression t-shirts with underarm pockets specifically made for concealed carry. I wore one the other day to a wedding in Baltimore for the first time. It was a cop's wedding. I probably knew 12 to 15 police officers there and I asked every single one of them if they could tell I was carrying. Nope. I'm good to go

I once joined a Zoom call with the president of a bank here in MD. Since I was joining like 10-15 mins early I joined with no mic or camera so he didn't realize it was just me and him and he was on-cam.

You guessed it, big ol booger right out of the nostril onto the index finger....he looks at it for a second and then BAM, HE EATS ON CAMERA!!

    *barf*

I can rest-easy now that I don't have to take this to the grave with me....Oh, and I hope this comment gets subpoenaed as well
