Oh by the way, now I hear a news story about some Maryland schools opting for increasing the number of sexless bathrooms in the halls of their brainwashing centers. Oh and the existing boys and girls bathrooms will have their boys/girls signs removed for revision.

It's no wonder school kids are messed up. The schools and parents don't teach respect, history, math, science etc anymore. They teach sedition, whining, and sexual confusion brainwashing crap.

It is called Civil Disobedience and a number of Liberals popularized it back in the 1950's and 1960's.

Why did Rosa Parks need to sit in the front of the bus?

Compare Jim Crow Laws to what is happening in Annapolis.

That is a VERY good thing to throw at The MD Tory Gentry on their social media pages. Anti-gun bills are the modern day Jim Crow laws, because POC are most grievously affected by the proposals. How many HQLs are issued to Baltimore City residents? How mant ranges to qualify are located there? :innocent0

Pretty sad that people can endorse violating the law on here. I mean, what does "WE WILL NOT COMPLY" advocate? It advocates breaking the law while waiting for the courts to figure everything out, and continuing to break the law should the courts decide unfavorably for us. Are we not "law abiding"?

The real question is not if we're law abiding, but who's law are we abiding?

Reading your posts has consistently pushed my buttons. Not the happy buttons! That's not necessarily a bad thing. It results in introspection on my part & a honing of my core beliefs.

My question to you is this. Do you endorse subjugation of the constitution by any law?

Germans became Nazi's because they were law abiding. Somewhere in that process their law progressively departed from spiritual law. That reality was likely realized at a different point in the progression for each of them, nonetheless they each crossed it and chose man's law above God's.

I will not cross that line!!!

The constitution is a living document, just as valid today as when it was written. Why, because it's a framework bound by spiritual principals the nature of which have not and will not change EVER!!
I cannot think of another document in modern civilization written with a closer convergence between mans law & God's!!

"its only keepers, the people" George Washington

Any new law that violates the constitution is not a law that should be complied with! "WE WILL NOT COMPLY" advocates disobeying unconstitutional law. Civil disobedience is required from time to time. More importantly it's a reminder of the Oath of office our delegates and senators all took. Sadly for many of them it was a perfunctory Oath.

Rack and Stove make it clear that these laws are "racist"? How many people do you see in Annapolis from inner Baltimore City protesting these laws? Get those people in there complaining about how these bills, how the HQL, etc. affect them and then we stand a chance. A bunch of old white men saying these laws are racist is a joke. Then again, you have a black woman from eastern Howard County sponsoring one of the bills.

I would say that these laws discriminate against the poor. If a NICS check is required on all firearm sales, then the cost of a gun just increased $35+ for a poor person. Plus, they have to have a vehicle to drive out to an FFL and effectuate the transfer, which is additional time and money from the poor that are stuck in poor, crime ridden areas. These laws discriminate against all poor; black, white, yellow, brown, pink, purple, etc. They strip away the ability for these poor people, of many colors, to defend themselves, while the elite hire body guards to protect themselves and keep their hands clean.

For those of you that have your panties in a bunch - Rack was given three opportunities to stop with the junior high name calling and chose to keep going.

Some more people are going to follow if they keep it up.

You can disagree without being disagreeable. This is not an editorial comment on anyone's stance, but right now people are letting their emotions get in front of their sense.

I posted several examples of famous WWNCers through our history as a nation that were of multiple races. Had you been in Annapolis on gun bill days you would have seen OFWGs testifying next to young blacks, middle aged women, gays, etc.. so your argument here just doesn't hold water.

My sons went to a hard core catholic school in MoCo. No school nurse, murder ball(dodge ball) and snowball fights are encouraged. Dangerous Camp for Boys.

They have the solution. On the door to the bathroom, it says, "Toilet".

    Done and done.

well stated indeed what are you doing Saturday

I am more worried about law enforcement trying to trace the gun from manufacture to ultimate destination, coming to a law abiding Maryland citizen that sold the gun to somebody, and that citizen then not having anything to show that he/she complied with the NICS requirement upon the sale. That is something that needs to be addressed in this bill. The seller needs something to show that he complied. Otherwise, the seller does not have any evidence if he/she is charged with not complying with this law. I am worried about the law abiding seller, getting charged for something because he does not have proof that he/she complied with the law.

Why would the seller have to prove anything? The state has the burden of proof. Let them go to the FFL that did the NICS check and find the log entry..

Fabs, you're right on the money with all your points! Now, how can we harness that to weld Jim Crow = Poor together?

In the fall, I was talking to two fathers of boys my son plays soccer with about dodgeball in Howard County. Somewhat insane that it cannot be played anymore because it is "dangerous" and picking teams hurts feelings. It was really insane to discuss it with them. They are as perplexed as I am about it.

Unfortunately for [them}, that's not the way real life is. Grown children must do "dangerous" things like crossing a busy street, and some will inevitably be passed over in life.

LOL! This reminded me of how we spent recess in elementary school just about every single day.

We played a game where someone would throw a ball in the air and whoever caught it would run. Everybody else would chase him, tackle him and pile on! Then when he got off the ground he would throw the ball in the air. This went on continuously the entire recess period. I don't recall anyone getting hurt and we all had fun.

And by the way this game was called "Smear the Queer" LOL! I guess it's no surprise that they don't allow it anymore.
