Anybody heard from him? He helped me out on a previous build and I could use his knowledge on my current build. I sent him a pm about a week ago but haven't heard back from him.

Spend so much time at the shop, feels weird NOT being there. Kind of funny how you can go from the FNG to the #2 in the shop in less than 90 days, if you're willing to put the work in.

The bird dog is gone.....and well worth it hahaha.

I haven't had a chance to get to the PO to get out the plates since my wife and I have literally been on opposite schedules but I'll get it handled!

The jam nut, or the entire barrel nut itself?

If you need to re-torque the barrel nut - I can loan you my armorers wrench, or you can swing by the shop and we can knock that out real quick one day. They're cool with my primary hobby, so no worries there.

The pitfall of being good at what I do. Shop manager basically told me, "If there's a day our Master tech isn't working - I am." It's a compliment, but it does mean my free time takes a hit.

Last time I got to the range was 10/24 for the S.O.T.A.R shoot at DSC.

Glad to be working full-time again, and not wanting to wrap a breaker bar around my employer's head is a solid bonus also.
