The numbers on the inside of the stock match, but not sure what the number is on the rear by the BERN marking.
That's a rack number.

I figured it was on the 1889 but didn't know on the 96/11 since its so many digits...seems strange for a rack number. That's a rack number.
Very nice assemblage of elongated Switzers.
I really like my Infanterie Gewehr 1911. I would probably shoot it at tomorrow's Vintage Match, but I need to take my wife for a medical test.
I think I've figured out why Abulg likes the K11 so much. I can see that a shortened IG 1911 would be a very graceful and handy rifle. The K31 is a better design, but it did pick up some chunkiness in the process of being improved.
I foresee more Switzers in my future.
I love my K31 but I can't say I love it any more than the 1889, 1911, 96/11, or K11. They are all "my favorite"Very nice assemblage of elongated Switzers.

The K11 holds a special place in my shooting heart. I'm going to shoot one tomorrow, along with a bunch of stuff that I don't have and probably never will. It pays to have a brother with deep pockets.

Perhaps one of you gentlemen could steer me toward a source for front sight blade replacements for a K31?
Unfortunately the best source for both new and used front blades (in different sizes) was Frank Van Binnendijk aka Guisan... who passed away recently.
Maybe posting over on one of the Swiss rifle forums... or there is always evilbay... I've seen them pop up there from time to time.
Got my Handpick 1896/11 from AIM today. Quite pleased with it.
All matching, pretty good stock and metal, nice bore. It did have some surface rust in areas that I had to tend to. So did my 1911 from SOG. No Me Gusta on the Import Mark.

I have issues...

Based on that avatar, yes, yes you do.
It is possible, but I can't tell for sure...Has the receiver been reblued? That is pretty common with these. It looks super dark.
I had this 92FS fall into my lap for less than the 92S exc cond from SOG, shipping and transfer would have been . I should get it after 7-10 day wait, did paper work today. I hope it shoots as good as it looks.
It looks great and I've never shot a modern era Beretta that didn't shoot good.
Ive alwast wanted a Beretta 92, ever since i bought my first gun about 20 years ago.
Well ..while i passed on the 92S from SOG at 299.for a OK one or 350 for a exc cond one and i passed on the recent 1951's.
