From what I have read about him he is good economically, strong business background, etc. How is he going to affect our natural resources? Is he a friend of the hunter, fishermen, birdwatcher, shoreman, trapper? Or is this more into the realm of what his appointees can and cant do? I dont recall Ehrlich being that great to us.

I'm not editing anything. Just mimicking what people here have been posting.

OMG It's a week in and no change in permit. I'm not voting him again.

WTF haven't heard where he stands on deer hunting. Should have voted for Brown.

WTF....wants to cut the budget....when is Frosh running again?

Do I think Hogan is going to be great at everything? No.

Do I think he is better then the other options? Yup. Is that good enough for me...yes.

    Folks need to calm down.

This state has such large fiscal issues, those need to be addressed first and foremost.

Hogan is definitely our friend, but more importantly, he's a friend to the state of Maryland.

For the record, I'd be quite happy if he lessened the tax burdens on the citizens of MD, then I could spend my money on private companies that will use their funds a little wiser than the state could ever do.

Not directed at you per se just some members in general.

The guy hasn't even got a budget passed let a lone made it through an legislative session. He hasn't even had a chance to have "folks on his side" present and lobby for bills.

But everyone wants to know what he's going to do for them now.

Let's give the guy a break. Besides, I am convinced he is going to show up on Lawyer's Mall on 2A Tuesday, advocate Shall Issue legislation, and announce his appointment for MSP Superintendent and disavow good & substantial right then and there!

Maybe people could give Hogan more than a week and let him get settled. If G&S isn't administratively altered by whomever gets the MSP job in a few months then we will know Hogan isn't for gun rights. I think he will make good on his promise.
