It was great meeting and shaking hands with a bunch of good folks. It was tough to put screen names with faces with no name tags and all that gunfire going on (I was wearing a black baseball cap with MDS shield patch).....Nice meeting you guys.

Name tags probably would have been nice, because the only ones I knew were Black Talon, TDH, Kevin, and Rob-cubed.

I was wearing the black coat with blue baseball cap and pony tail.:)

What an amazing day! Thank you so much to everyone that came out. I really sincerely enjoyed facilitating so many people to shoot their first machine gun! I'll stop using exclamation points now, but what a great day and im so, so glad Duffy's is closed tomorrow... Heh.

The MG42 was the wife's first shot at full auto anything. She was grinning from ear to ear after that.:D

    I don't think anyone stepped away from the MG42 without a huge grin! I know I didn't.

My personal favorites were the Thompson M1 and the AK74. I liked their cyclic rates.

They were both nice and awful hard to pick a fave from so many fine firearms. The AK74 looked fierce with that awesome muzzle blast but was surprisingly gentle to shoot.

Vince and crew, thank you for a marvelous day at the range. We all had fun and nobody got hurt (except in the wallet.) It was a thrill to be able to sample so many fine full auto firearms in one place.

Can we do it again, please!:party29:

Had a great time today! Thanks To Duffy's for organizing this amazing event, I hope this can be an annual shoot. My face hurts from smiling all day. Thanks to iHasCrabs, those were the best crabs I had all year.

I think that was the most popular one at 2 mags for 20 bucks.

My thumb slipped off the handguard while it was smokin'. Ouch...:innocent0

I'm still having trouble believing we actually did that within MD borders. I could almost hear the shrieks of the wounded from Annapolis.:lol2:

What an awesome event. Thanks to Duffy's and Blue point.
I met a lot of great folks today. I was the guy in the old school MDS sweatshirt.
Rsideout- thanks for letting me play with your toys. I owe you one....
Dave- I know you aren't on here, but thanks for letting shoot the M2 50.

    When is the next one?

I still can't fathom the amount of ammo Dave shot out of his .50 cal machine gun and the German 7mm machine gun. I am also happy he didn't blow his face off with those aerosol cans :)

Overall I had a great time and met a lot of really nice people. I met so many new people today I forgot 3/4 of the names... But I don't forget faces! Thanks again Duffy's and the crew that put this on today.

I actually didn't get your name but I talked to you a few times today. I was the one with the Barrett.

I don't know how much 50 cal he went through, my guess was close to 500 rounds. I do know we went through a little over 1000 rounds out the MG 15 8mm. :D

I was glad to see he still had facial hair after the boom and ensuing fireball.

This was my first MG shoot event and it was great! Thought the event was terrific. Many thanks to Duffy's for their work putting this together. Met alot of fellow shooters today in MD. Also had a good time as an RSO today (I was the RSO in the CEXC Afghanistan tshirt, was working along with Sundazes.) Thanks again to the Duffy's crew and everyone that showed up.

He said he sent somewhere around 10k rounds down range :loll: Mostly into that poor Toyota pickup truck...

BTW Vince... You could of sold the rear out of that truck for $400.

That was total. He had 6 or 7 MG's of varying calibers there. The guy was amazing in his knowledge and collection.
