Wow, I'm a fellow Parkvillian. I've been there for 20 years and have seen Valley, Just Guns, Walter's, and now CS go by the wayside.

Valley and Walters did it to themselves, but CS and Just Guns seem a result of SB281. Fu*king Maryland.:sad20:

As did Just Guns and to some extent CS....with the dawning of SB281....folks are going to take their money where they are most welcomed....those with poor customer service are the first to go........

    Amen

Sad. I remember the glory days of Harford rd well. Bought stuff from all those shops except Just guns. But my first came from Donohues in Towson.

I would like to hear the story about Walters. Never new they got in doo doo with the ATF. I friend of mine from high school worked there for a couple years.

It's my understanding that one of Dan's employees brought it on him. I've heard the story, but won't repeat it here.

I certainly won't miss it, Rob was just not a pleasant person to deal with. Received NONE of my money.

It's a shame that any gun shop goes out of business whether you like them or not. You can thank O'painintheass again for any and all closures.
I'm not taking up for any shop or any one... It's just a shame

Who remembers that little gun shop INSIDE chatham mall in Ellicott City? Early to mid eighties i think. Left side right before you walked into Kmart.

How about Mountain Side Supply, or something like that on Liberty Rd by Marriotsville Rd? That one went years ago.

    You mean Nicholl's?

I bought a couple of pistols from them.

After Nicholls it was Second Amendment Services or something close for a short time. Nicholls had a lot of stuff besides guns, it was a nice store. And then There was Donahues in Towson but I'm really dating myself. Howard Donahue was a wealth of info but got awfully cranky in his old age.
