Just want to make sure I'm the the clear here.

I'm currently moving and need to transport my firearms. I don't have cases for the ones in my safe. From my understanding, it is legal to transport them without cases as long as they are unloaded right.

I appreciate any guidance on this, thank you.

Well; it's legal to carry long guns except in certain munipalities that have laws against that from before 1985, so a case should make no difference.

Loaded may be another story though.

Just don't be like my new douche neighbors.

Young guy carries 12ga out to truck in ready position. Stops, looks around. Loudly says, "Nothing to see here folks. We're good". Racks shotgun a few times and then gets in the front of a pickup holding the shotgun across his lap.

Roll them up in a blanket.

Will prevent scratches and you can carry many at one time.

Alternate butt stock and muzzle as you add more rifles.

She's very new to shooting (loving it though). They make excellent trainers so I can coach her and she can get used to the feel and safety of handling firearms. Its also cheap as hell to target shoot with.

I always thought it would be cool to put a couple really bad-ass airsofts like those in a plexiglass display case that was incredibly solid and well bolted down, just to mess with the burglars.
