You're not dealing with people that type URLs... they are people that type the name of what they want into the Google or Facebook and click the top result (usually after typing "google" or "facebook" into Yahoo or Bing, but I digress...). Misspelled URLs are not a factor for them.

It's a nice thought, but of little effectiveness.

there's another correlation among the list of states they will be visiting...

Nearly all of them have a very strong grassroots 2A community.

CalGuns, MSI, Illinois carry, CTCarry, etc, are all making noise they want to counter.

they will pushback and turnout for 2A in other states, but sadly not here...

Illinois carry, CTCarry, etc are experiencing the same "let down" we are here in MD. Simply because there is nothing pressing in front of us (or them) right now.

Growth and turnout needs to be organic for it to stick, not forced. And as much as I would like to fast track what we want to do with regards to outreach, it may take longer than we want/like.

My point is more that these groups are known to be effective, and can mobilize people if dire need arises. It's the maintenance of effort that falls short.

BTW I'd venture to guess many nerds of old in HS fantasized about open carry of AK's in public to ward off bullies, or of flat out shooting bullies as if they are varmint hunting them. But to think such things anymore is a no-no, though nothing is wrong with responsible adult handgun open carry, unless one insists on doing so in their pedo bear costume (which btw is proper attire for Frosh events, but without the open carry part).
