This flash hider/mount does not add a lot of OAL, the majority of the flash hider covers the barrel and only adds 1.75"s to the OAL. This will not get a 16" Tavor MD compliant.

Damn, I should have looked a little closer... oh well, as I said I didn't know crap about it!

US Machinegun has a 3.5" muzzle brake and might be just what you are looking for your Tavor.

This ported 3.5" muzzle brake/flash hider is perfect if you want to add some length to a short barreled rifle project or are looking for a different look for your AK. It is a machined, ported muzzle brake with locking notches to prevent any movement while under fire. It is threaded 1/2x28 for the AR-15. It can be pinned and welded for compliance as well. Weighs about 5 ounces.

Related question: how long are 18" barrel Tavors overall?

Yes, I know, they're 2" longer than 16" barrel Tavors, but I don't know how long they are, aside from being under 29" OAL.

    You do!

If you don't mind asking what rifle has a 16" barrel with a OAL of 26", sounds odd to me.

P.S. we don't need to pin a brake/hider to achieve OAL, also OAL is measured while stocks is fully extended....
