Looks like a really nice rifle. Price seems to be about right for that kind of weapon.

Just a FYI, I have that trigger, and it's almost identical to a stock trigger. Not bad, but not great either. Buying an ALG trigger guarantees that your trigger won't suck, not that you'll have a good one.

Yea i looked into the trigger as well and nothing really stands out about it. I will probably get their standard trigger, do a bit of polishing, then just some jp springs with the money saved.

The guys with skill want the best. Some people accept that experience and knowledge and buy things those guys develop and use.

Ever notice how you rarely see guys who train often, rarely keep their weapon the same. It is because they change their gear and weapons as they learn. Those guys do the "homework" for you, so to say.

Yes its marketing to some extent but the foundation of the item is solid and purpose driven. Theres lots of guys on Forums and Gunshops that will throw a ton of stuff on their weapon because they saw it somewhere else, or think it looks cool, yet they have no idea how items work together, and how those mods may alter operation/performance.

BCM, Haley, Costa, LaRue and the like make/support purpose driven equipment. Some of its expensve, but at least it isnt held together with a box of set screws. ;). Look at the Rail System interface with the Barrel Nut in the video. Its SOLID. I cant say the same for some other manufacturers rails that cost the same.

If I were a Nascar Fan and had the opportunity to buy the same car used on the track I probably would. Problem is many people dont know how to utilize that much of a car and dont have the logistical support to keep the car running.

Im sure Haley could run a bone stock M4 pretty good, but he rarely runs anything stock and theres a reason for that.

Couldn't agree with this more, the products they recommend or back may be "high dollar" but those products do the job and they do the job well. They look nice "Tacti-Cool" and they function properly and in conjunction with the rest of the weapon they are flawless for that specific setup. All in all that gun is a bad piece. :party29:

Just received the B5 Bravo SOPMOD stock that they use on the Jack, to say the least I love it. Really simple design, compact size and nice cheek weld all at a great price point!

Built specifically for the ARFCOM bandwagon crowd that will buy it, take pictures of it, put it in the safe, and then take it out to take new pictures of it. But holy shit don't expect any real range reports, why would you ever shoot something so expensive and risk damaging the proprietary gray finish?

Third Law of Arfcom Dynamics™: Get Haley or Costa to put their name on it, and you can charge twice what it's really worth.....at least.

So much money. I like piecing one together over time. Find some good deals. Research.

I am sure a well put together rifle, but like said, nothing my other ones can't do.

Although mine is Deceitful Grey. It looks Grey but is actually black.

Basically you're saying popularity>longevity. I love BCM, but you're statement is 134% opinion.

Bcm doesnt use any different sized pins, or semi style carriers. I just saw a colt m4 the other day my friend almost bought, the man behind the counter said it had the oversized pins and a standard ar carrier. I thought colt stopped. Bcm is usually cheaper, and the parts are all up to the proper specs. I cant say longevity bc i havent personally seen either wear out or fail yet. That said, my M1S hasnt either...

I just mean Colt as a company in general has the track record of what like almost 200 years? Both companies have FANTASTIC customer service in my experience. I thought Colt stopped that different pin ********. I have an old HBAR with the sear block and large pins. It was kinda their way of "complying" to keep selling AR rifles during hairy times. I HATE the large pins. I need a trigger and gotta find a large pin one. Anger building.....

Yeah those little compliance items are my only issue with colt. Other than that, i agree with you and would not hesitate to buy one for the right price.

It really isn't, people have sticker shock... These are the same people that would buy a Colt 6920 for 1k and then change the hand guards, stock pistol grip, add lights, etc and pay well over $2145.00. The Jack comes with all the bell and whistles if thats what you want if not buy something else. If you wanna talk overpriced look at the Costa Edition Larue Rifle!
