    Shooting the PT145
    Just an update:

    The Taurus PT145 bought from AKbythebay shoots geat. About 200 rounds through it now with no failures. It shoots low, but that seems to be typical of the model and I shoot low with everything :).

    Helluva gun that everyone likes to shoot. No one can believe how tame the recoil is out of such a small .45.

    Excellent to do business with...
    I purchased a Taurus PT145 from AK by doing a FTF transfer in maryland.

    The pistol seems to be in excellent condition and I will update this as soon as I am able to go shooting.

    The transaction was smooth except for the fact that our original MD State Police barracks did not have the paperwork! However, we both took the time to drive 30 minutes to another barracks where we did the required paperwork. After the paperwork came back "not disapproved", AK immediately notified me and we set the date for the actual transfer.

    He was on time and communicated well. The deal was also fair for both sides.

    Good to get to know another member!
