“Pre-64” is a term used to describe the Winchester Model 70 transition and has very little bearing on other Winchester’s, including the Model 94. A Pre-64 Model 94 is not materially different from a 64, 65, and so on. Significant changes in design and construction occurred in the late70’s/ early 80’s, but till then the Model 94’s are pretty much unchanged.
