He'll be signing a blank piece of paper on Tuesday. By then, the bill will have already defaulted into law; his "performance" means nothing at that point.
I doubt it will be a blank piece of paper. Let's say it is a blank piece of paper, at least he will be on record and on camera of being in full support of a bill that violates the Constitutional rights of citizens. When this new law gets struck down in court for how ever many years that it may take, Gov. More will not be able to separate himself from this.

    His voters really won’t care.
They'll care. They'll consider it unfair that a good law was ruined by gun nuts. The last thing they'll do is take it out on him - it's the opposite. The law being struck down will just make them try that much harder. Don't underestimate the other side's unwillingness to grapple with cause, effect, reality, etc.

They will never stop blaming the court or the 2A for the murders committed by their sons.

    Both of these .

X years from now when it's struck down , most of his voters won't remember , most of those who remember won't care , those who remember and care , will mostly support him for bravely pushing back against the evil and misguided SCOTUS .

Of course if Brown ever runs for the GOP Presidential Nomination;, it would be held against him .

But in real time ? His Milli Vanilli esque "ceremony" is all upside , and "we" and Brown already have mutual hate , and we're already written off

This is exactly correct. To Dem voters he is doing the noble thing. If it's unconstitutional, it just means the constitution is wrong, and a court with Trump appointees confirmed it. This won't hurt Moore or any other Dem's standing with their voters one bit. They did this fully knowing it will be struck down and they didn't care.

Interesting. He said he would sign it.

Maybe he changed his mind after they passed it so he could see what was in it….

No, it’s his way of saying infringement in Maryland is inevitable and therefore not a meaningful opportunity to claim he did something.

From my perspective he seems he’d gain more from his base by signing it. He doesn’t shun MDA, does he? I don’t disagree with your sentiment. I wonder if the governor has some personal disagreement with parts of the bill.

Isn't the Tuesday dog&pony show still on the schedule?

There is no sign or not sign; there is only infringement.

It will be hilarious if MSI files suit tomorrow, before he can even sign it
