Cox is probably the best candidate. Unfortunately, if he does win the republican nomination the dems will most likely wind up winning the race. I dont see a Trump backed candidate standing a snowballs chance in hell here in Maryland
I've posted my analysis for the primary election on whom to vote for. It isn't as complete as I'd like it to be, but I went with the best information I had availavle to me. Here's the link:

I will vote for the R that has the best chance to win the general election. To me, anything else is just a protest that goes nowhere. My choice.

Not impossible. Ehrlich and Hogan were recent. We can do it again. I know they get a lot of shi* here, but no one in their right mind can deny that their dem challengers wouldn't have been worse for 2A. And most other things.

Interesting that all of the Schulz supporters here aren't telling us why she is a better proponent of the 2A than Cox but only that "she can win".

This is the same person that six days ago told the WaPo that she didn't know what the Bruen decision meant for Marylanders but that Maryland has strong gun laws which aren't going to change if she is elected.

First, as a Christian Man, I can’t vote for a woman to be any leader over me. Bible calls woman as your ruler a curse.

Guess I’m voting for Cox. All these woman in politics need to go home and rule over making a sandwich for their husbands.

It's simple, nobody said she's a great proponent, and you already know the answer, so don't play the straw man argument game.

It's not that "she can win" and is a great proponent. She's just slightly less likely to lose, and unlike all the Dems isn't an outspoken opponent. And if she somehow doesn't lose, unlike any of the Dems she won't be promoting anti-2A legislation right out of the chute.
