Colt Python is expensive. I don't know if I want to buy one.
I got mine at a gun show. I was the first person to stop at a table of mostly knives. The seller had the one Python laying there and I picked it up and got the story; previous owner bought it, shot less than half a box, took it home and the wife said get it out of the house. It went into his safe deposit box. It has a 6" barrel, from the last year Colt nickle plated them. While I was looking at it a crowd gathered around me. I knew if I set it down, someone else would buy it so I did. It is a great shooter and got me hooked on wheel-guns. I find factory .357s a little harsh, so I shoot 38s or lightly loaded .357s. Years later I picked up a S&W 625 which is a tack driver. For me as an engineer, my guns are functional art.
