    That would be interesting.

    I remember reading about them, and one issue was you had to be steady longer, as the acceleration was slower than a normal round.

    Yes and no, the accuracy is poor enough that it really doesn't matter :)
    (the first versions - M137 and some converted Mark I's - didn't even have a barrel).
    The time it takes to build up thrust and leave the barrel is actually quite quick.

    Someday I'll shoot one of my carbines, since no one seems to have recorded that.
    I've even got a box of ammo... just need to find some space (no pun intended) and intestinal fortitude.

    That is why I was asking for clarification.

    But hard to get to shoot the gun, without flying the aircraft. :)

    I want to not only shoot one, but also want to own a Boys anti tank rifle. A few years ago, I thought I had one at a very good price. But the seller backed out and has yet to call me back, as I requested, if he ever decided to sell it again.

    An Abrams tank or a civil war cannon. Are they big enough to be called guns. Oh and puff the magic Dragon.
