What paperwork to keep with gun?

When I take my SBR and can to the range, what paper work should I keep with me while traveling with items. They are held by NFA trust.

Always keep a COPY with you whenever you transport your NFA weapon. Leave the original at home in a safe deposit box or fireproof safe. The original is virtually non replaceable. (you can request a certified copy from ATF)

While good advice, remember that its private tax info and you don't need to show it to anyone except those specifically listed. Its also not a requirement to always have a copy with you. Its just wise given the current climate. I have forgotten my paperwork and didn't drive back home to get it, however I do generally carry it with me. We have had long threads on this if you search for it.

Is running serial numbers in the COMAR?

I have scanned mine and keep them on my iPhone as well. That way, I have to forget both the hard copies and my phone. I have never had anyone ask to see the form 4's
