What is the best handgun finish for CCW?

my SERPAs dont mess with my finish. but my safariland leather holsters wreak havoc

My serpa did..., but to be fair it wasn't designed solely for the M&P - it was designed to accomodate the Sigma AND the M&P series - which probably wasn't the best idea on Blackhawk's part.

Time will tell with this Safariland I got, lined kydex.

I'd say melonite, have no experience with cerakote - Al's shot my M&P plenty, no signs of rust anywhere.

Lucky there, M&P isn't exactly drool worthy, polymer frame helps too.

Although he did drool on the USP a fair bit, and that's none the worse for wear...

I agree with the no stainless, just would feel weird about carrying a gun that reflects that much light, seems like too much attention.
