As a general rule of thumb, half the value of fixed ammo is in the case. In these crazy times however it very much depends on how scarce a particular case is.

Also, range pickups are less valuable than stuff you've collected yourself because they are generally mixed manufacturer.

Why not start with looking at who is selling it?
That's the value of what people might be buying it for.
Sometimes it shows up here in the classifieds. (filter by ammo/reloading. Hmm. see some clean looking 223 right now).
I picked up 1000 cases of 9mm that was cleaned but not deprimed from an amazon seller for about $100 shipped. After, someone posted a place selling it for a bit less.
If it were the same price, would I want to buy it deprimed and cleaned? Heck ya, less work.

I guess I am skeptical of how someone else cleaned and deprimed it. I would still resize it myself and since I wet tumble with steel media...most "cleaned" brass isn't as clean as mine. Just my .02.

To me, cleaning is worth nothing.

    Depriming is worth nothing.

If it is military brass and deprimed and swaged, that is worth something, but not that much money.

It is up to YOU what it worth to YOU.
