  • The Defense Advanced Research Agency (DARPA) is working on a shooting system that measures the wind profile between the shooter and the target. I believe Lockheed Martin has the contract.

I surmise that the initial system will be used by the spotter and will connect to a special scope on the rifle. The reticle or dot on the rifle optic will show the bullet's impact point based on range, temperature, RH, pressure, Coriolis drift, Spin drift, wind profile, and any other effect.
