    Currently Living in Prince George and this year would be my first year trying out Bow Hunting for the first time. I have no idea where I should start. I thought I would ask to see if you guys have any suggestion....

    I too will be going for the first time for bow hunting this year. I think the patuxent refuge is the best place, if your from bowie. you have to qualify for the bow qualifying and pay like up to 100dollars for license and fee to md and patuxent refuge north tract. but in bowie, no other public place is closer.

    That is not a bad idea -

    But what do you mean I have to qualify for the bow ? I thought that i don't have to have that ..unless I am missing something on the list.

    i say get you a bow and learn how it shoot it first. then get your hunters saftey card. then go onto DNR'S public hunting lands section and figure out which park you want to get lost in. bring a gps,its awkward having to eat your friend!
