Virginia Concealed Carry Finger Prints

I need fingerprints for my renewal and of course DC only doing appointments. The first 1 available is in 2025, is there somewhere else I can go and get this done?

Am I understanding correctly , that these are for your VIRGINIA Permit ?

Then yes , you can get them from any U.S. LE Agency ( that offers that service ) .

As to such in Maryland, check the various threads about where to get prints for Florida.

Or start calling nearby local PD in adjacent NoVa .

Or call VSP . They probably get asked that multiple times a day

If an agency or business requests a copy of your fingerprints, the Sheriff’s Office can assist with the request. The Arlington County Sheriff’s Office ONLY offers the service of electronic (digital) fingerprinting which are printed on a paper fingerprint card and is physically given to the resident as it is their responsibility to fill out the card and submit the card to the party who requested it.

Nope. Virginia has several hundred LE agencies- nobody at VSP knows or cares about all 95 counties and 38 independent cities FP policies.

Nope. Virginia has several hundred LE agencies- nobody at VSP knows or cares about all 95 counties and 38 independent cities FP policies.

But VSP is specifically the Agency exclusively handling Non Resident Carry Permits , and would be knowledgeable on the specific requirements they're looking for .
