The Virginia Beach School Board wants to make its office buildings gun-free zones. The hearing on this will be this Tuesday, November 23, at 6pm at:
Virginia Beach School Board
2512 George Mason Dr
Virginia Beach, VA 23456
VCDL will not cede any ground to gun control, be it in a park or be it in a school board office building! We need gun owners to speak against this proposed policy. We should all stand together as brothers and sisters to fight for our gun rights wherever they are infringed in the Commonwealth!
The School Board will start hearing the first testimony around 6:20pm and it will continue to 8pm. They will then suspend testimony and they will finish their agenda before letting the remaining speakers talk.
A mask is absolutely required to enter the building. Exceptions can be applied for, but you must apply for an exception before 9am the day before the hearing by submitting this form: https://www.vbcpssupport.com/wp-con...ask-Accommodation-Forms-Medical-Religious.pdf
ACTION ITEMS
1) Send a short, polite, but firm email to the School Board in opposition to item 12.F.7., which prohibits the otherwise lawful carry of firearms on School Board property. The email address to reach all Board members is: VBCPSSchoolboard@googlegroups.com
2) Those in Virginia Beach should sign up to speak
Here is the link to sign up to speak. Indicate that you want to speak on item 12.F.7, firearms on School Board property:

Smoking, vaping, etc. are banned from the grounds, but a public sidewalk is not far away.
