Upgrading Crossbows

So I've been hunting with a Barnett Gamecrusher for the past few years. While I do like it, it is awfully heavy and has a poor scope. Instead of replacing the scope I'm looking at upgrading the whole package and selling the gamecrusher. Anybody have a recommendation for one that's around the $500 point?
