Purchased the Universal Powder Through Expander from www.powderfunnels.com as it was highly recommended by many reloaders. I tried to put it in my Lee 9mm Powder Through Expanding die, and it doesn't fit, it's wider than the funnel that comes stock in the die. Many people use this to reload 9mm, so i'm wondering if this is normal and it just doesn't work with Lee dies or if maybe the one I got is out of spec?

i believe they only work using powder drop like hornady (progressive l-n-l)... not the same as powder through dies.

lx1x is right. They are made to replace the hornady powder thru expanders.

If you want to pass it on, I know someone looking for one.

Well, that explains why it didn't fit, I was trying to put it in the wrong place. Got it all set up now, thanks! So basically now that I set this up with my powder drop, I don't even need the powder through expander die...Correct?

As posted above, it is designed for the Hornady LnL. Even Hornady calls their's PTX's. The term "Universal" in its name is in regards to it being able to bell multiple calibers of pistol brass without needing a caliber specific expander size.
