    Don't think this has a chance in hell of being ratified by the Senate...even if it did, I'd ignore it. I'm getting pretty radical in my old age...

    If the Senate ratified that, you WOULD have civil war. Several states would outright refuse to follow any UN-created policies. It's one thing when it's your own who are looking to disenfranchise you, but foreign countries?? That dog won't hunt.

    Correct me if I am wrong, but even if the Senate never ratifies this, it will still affect us. This will effect all of the cheap ammunition that comes into the country, as well as all of the surplus rifles and pistols that get imported in. The days of the $100 rifle with $0.10 a round ammo is gone.
