Seems like I've had bad luck lately with gun stuff.

Brand new Trijicon SRO. Auto brightness defaulted to the dimmest setting while indoors under incandescent light. Completely useless. If I walked outside with natural light, the brightness adjusted correctly. I did some preliminary research and heard other reports of this happening. Called trijicon, they told me to send it in. I sent it in, and two weeks later (too long IMO for such an easy diagnosis) they agreed that it was not working correctly and would send me a NEW one.

So I get the new one today, and it is not only CLEARLY used, but it is having the EXACT SAME PROBLEM.

Unacceptable for such an expensive optic.

The vast majority of companies will replace new items on warranty with refurbished items so that's not a huge surprise. The fact that the new one has the same issue is terrible.

    That sucks.

I have several RDS with auto brightness. I choose to lock that function out because they are never what you want to see. I always go manual brightness. This includes two Trij RMRs and one SRO.

That still doesn't solve the problem with a bad, expensive new optic. Sorry to hear this.

I have two of their older tritium Reflex sights. They've gotten so dim they're useless. I sent them in twice and they claimed both times they recharged them but they're still worthlessly dim. Guess that's that then
