    I would suggest taking the NRA Defensive Pistol, Personal Protection Inside the Home , or Personal Protection Outside the Home as starting points. There are some good courses being offered by local trainers.

    I'd look here. Their website kinda sucks but I do have experience training with one of these guys (he's also with Green Ops) and I like him.
