A great big Thanks to the 3 Hooligans for making me buy the above.
Shot 4 rnds of Prvi 150 gr S/P.A nice gentile push!
Then 4 rnds of Prvi 180 gr S/P. A bit more of a shove sorta.
Much less recoil then I expected.
Started to rain, and I didn't think she wanted to get wet,so back in its case.
Now,do I start looking for a SMLE from the 1914-1918 era?
O.K. we all know the answer to that ?
    Joe, are you there?
Bought a copy of "The Lee Enfield Story." by Skennerton.
Should be here Friday! Pray for a very heavy snow event this weekend.
    Best to the group.

You should have called me, I'd have rode up to watch you shoot your new toy.
You need to get the SMLE, do as my daughter tells me, YOLO, you'll have to ask Joe about that one, he's used it before.
Hush about that white stuff, I'll take some for Christmas, but then it can leave.

Wagtail, like Buff I wish I could have been there. Your first few rounds? That would have been fun to see! There's no doubt in my mind you'll fall in love with that No. 4! Enfields are terrific rifles and can be very addictive. There are many variants. There's a No. 1 somewhere out there with your name on it. Be patient and find the right one.

I have a 1926 Lithgow No.1 Mk III and a 1912 England No.1 I restored a couple of years ago. They are similar, but different. I'll bring those along with my No. 4 Mk 2 and Ishapore .308 version next range trip. We can make it an Enfield day.

When you get your book you'll have interesting reading ahead. There are other folks on the forum who can add to Enfield wisdom - y'all please chime in! Enfields can be an acquired taste. But once you get hooked, there's no turning back.
