Well I have been holding off in the hopes of getting more info on the subject but it appears there is no more info coming and time is running out. As most of us know:
get their firearm post Oct 1 per MSP and the AG. I have been holding off in getting these because of the lack of detail in what will legally qualify as a PO and be recognized by the police after Oct 1. I actually sent a letter to MSP mid June requesting this info but no reply has come.
I have a least two new firearms that are so back ordered, there is no hope of getting them pre October.
So is it time to begin getting these POs in order as October is getting close quick!
Some ideas I am playing around with is if I want to make a deposit. I think I do for most of them. I think I will do so with Credit Card so that gives third party verification of the pre October part of the PO.
Has anyone thought about how this will apply to used guns? Can we PO a used gun that a FFL might not have in stock? Can we get POs from FFL dealers rather than manufactures? There is no guidance, so it appears so. I plan to make a lot of $1 deposits and hopefully get a lot of POs in before Oct 1. Anyone else on this path...?
