You can advertise it in MD Shooters classifieds. Someone commits to purchasing it. You both go to a FFL to transfer it/complete the sale.

Make sure you state, your location, how far you would drive for transfer, any preferred shop for transfer and buyer pays transfer fee

Many gunshops will take firearms on consignment for a percentage of the sale price. I find this convenient.
