Anyone have the new Primary Arms 1-8? Seriously toying with grabbing this one at $380. The new Burris looks tempting as well.

One a whim... bought the new (to me anyways) Atibal Striker.... my noob two-cents worth.... a little on the heavy side, but clear. As clear as my luepolds or nikons... put it on my 3gun build, so hopefully will be able to judge and compare with others soon at the tcsc shoots...

I never see anyone post an ELCAN anywhere on the forum.

I never see anyone post an ELCAN anywhere on the forum.

That's because belong on the Canadian sub-forum.

I personally like the ELCAN a little more than the ACOG; the eye relief seems better and the field of view a little wider.

Raytheon bought them because they felt compelled to compete w/ L3; apparently there is a small addressable market for optics that and they didn't want them to walk away with it...

Just mounted my Bushnell 1-4X24 FFP AR Scope with PCL. Pretty impressed so far.

My picks. If you got the bucks and the guts.

The Elcan 1-4x is a mother of a scope.
The Trijicon Vcog 1-6x is solid and heavy as F.
The Leupold Mark 6 1-4x is light and bright.

    Primary Arms 1-6X

I recently bought a Primary Arms 1-6X to replace my Sparc II & 3x magnifier. I was originally planning on a Strike Eagle but the PA was on sale (saved about 100 bucks) and I prefer the PA reticle over the Vortex. Great scope!

The PA reticle is way too busy for me. Didn't care for it. So I went strike eagle lol.
