Waco and Ruby Ridge were BATFE going after what they considered on-going threats (RR they were actually wanting to get the Aryan Nation guys in Idaho; Waco they thought they could have a religious cult to attack with impunity, and we saw in both cases, the FBI turn it into an even bigger circus). This was merely a small town collector who was doing what we all do, but he popped up on their radar.

This guy has one good point (I think). The warrant has checkboxes for the purpose of the warrant. It covered only evidence collection. No arrests. Yet the went in like Navy SEALs on a mission in the Middle East. I don't think (not yet, anyway) they went in there TO kill the guy, but they certainly had no fvcks to give about him or anyone else with their tactics, time-of-day, etc.

If just to collect evidence, why not wait for him to leave for work?

The Biden administration is sending one deadly message after another.
