    Looking for a smith to look at a 1903a3 for me talked to Bob at gunrunners he said he doesn't have the tools. any one else know of a guy/Girl that won't charge me an arm and a leg.

    Good luck with this when I called around as i wanted to rebuild a drill rifle I couldn't find anyone under 200 bucks which was simply too much I gave up and moved on.

    You could look outside the state, probably a lot cheaper. Va has a lot of reasonable smiths.

    haha i actually put this in the wrong forum should be capital region, For now check headspace on a correct NOS bolt. in the future i am going to reactivate a drill receiver to make a A-faux, which would be reaming the chamber and tapping the reciever. i would prefer in the Frederick/Balto area.

    I truely wish you luck though I gave up on my drill rifle project and moved on as it seemed no one local really wanted to do it.
