So conference today, and next Mon is the final NYSRPA opinion ‘release’ date, correct?

Are we getting a Red Ryder or a bunny suit?

In today's conference they will be deciding the issue of mootness for this case. The orders/results of this conference will be available around 9:30 am on Monday. There are several possible outcomes; they may dismiss the case due to mootness, they may dismiss the suggestion of mootness, and they may also hold the issue of mootness for argument currently scheduled for Dec 2.

They published some cases that they’ll be taking. Nothing regarding this case or any changes. Guess keep watching the docket to see if anything new is put up

Issue will be considered at argument
18-280 NY STATE RIFLE & PISTOL, ET AL. V. NEW YORK, NY, ET AL.

The Respondents’ Suggestion of Mootness is denied. The
question of mootness will be subject to further consideration at
oral argument, and the parties should be prepared to discuss it.

google is your friend, I am not.
The comment "The question of mootness will be subject to further consideration at oral argument, and the parties should be prepared to discuss it " sounds like a somewhat meaningless concession to the courts liberals. I mean, duh, of course they should be prepared to discuss it. I am not even sure what that means, anyone can change their mind if the facts change.

    Carroll County!
Maybe Justice Thomas will ask a question. If this is moot, can the State and the city change the law back to what is was or worse?

There is no way the city will answer that question. Therefore, I believe that case is not moot. As fast as the state and the city changed the law, nothing would stop them from changing it back the next day. IMHO
