Looking for maybe local but want a rmr cut for my Glock 17.

Heard of hafer or hafners here in Maryland.

    Who do you y’all use?

And also which iron sights do you suggest for lower 1/3 cowitness with a venom?

The job they did was excellent
Money and time wasn’t a factor for me then just wanted it right.

Set on cutting your existing slide or would you be interested in an aftermarket complete upper with the RMR cut and fixed tall sights?

Well now that I’m learning a rmr cut does not equal a venom cut. Not as much but not disinterested.

They are top on my list for a mail out scenario.

I assume you have been happy with their work?

Absolutely. They've done three slide cuts for me. Two RMRs and one Swampfox. If you have any questions for them, shoot them an email and they'll get right back to you.

I actually just installed one of these on my Glock as I didn't want to commit to having the slide cut https://www.strikeindustries.com/si-g-surf.html

The construction seems top notch and I really liked the design utilizing the back plate from the slide as a mounting point - seemed very well thought out. Unfortunately, I cant give any info on longevity as it hasn't been to the range yet.

Went with them. They are now at 4-6 weeks. I can wait but I expected your timing.

Lol. That sucks. I think one of mine took two weeks and another took closer to a month. I guess I caught them at the right time the last time I used them. It was late January and I guess that was a slow period for them. In the end, I'm sure you will be happy. :)

I’m just excited to get my optic on and go shoot again
