As much as I love a 1911 (see avatar), why would you NOT like a 2011?

Sig needs to put out a 2011 that uses the X macro 17 round mags. The traditional 2011 9mm mags are a little bulkier than they need to be for something that might be used as a CCW.

It is surprising that Sig hasn't jumped into the 2011 market yet, I agree. They'd have a rocking IDPA CCP pistol with a little forethought.

Looks pretty sweet. Already have a 2011, a Para Ordnance P-14. Still one of my favorite guns I own.
    Wouldn't mind a 2011 9mm for competition though.

Agreed. This is the closest thing to that out there... Unfortunately only a limited run and also not optics ready.

P14s aren't really 2011s so much as double stack 1911s. True 2011s have modular frames that you can replace the grip on.

I think it looks cool, but I won't be running out for one.

That was a really good shakedown that I'm sorry I watched. :lol2:
Me too, kinda. I discovered Staccato pistols recently and am lusting after the XC. I have several Springfields, all with trigger upgrades and other safety enhancements, and they're now very good guns. The Staccatos in my safe, however, are pure 72 Virgins level of erotic, and are incredible to shoot. I'd love to see how much better the XC is over the P and the C2.

That looks very much like a Stacatto grip module.

My Springfield MCO and Stacatto P are my two favorite guns, hands down. It'll be interesting to see where this goes. More 2011 options will never be a bad thing.

14 posts on a Springfield thread and The Poors haven’t chimed in yet that this gun sucks because it’s a Springfield or that gun sucks because it’s expensive (ie more than they feel like paying for one)? Unbelievable.

I have 2 Staccatos and still like this one. Need to read up on it, and check one out in person. Hopefully it’ll make it to the Register soon.

I got to handle these this week at a show. I think they are really nice and a great price. Springfield said they would work to get them on the roster. Some pics I took.
