Yep, the SVT bayonet is a repo. It came with the rifle. Looking for a real one and authentic ammo pouch now.

I appreciate all the insight and advice regarding the SVT-40.

Very nice. Some time ago I posted a link to a Guns Magazine from circa 1965. In one of the want ads you could mail order an SVT40 for like $40. No background check or anything.

Nice, very few of us will have a TT-33, even less of us would have both that and the SVT.
    Well done.

Those were the days, my friend... unfortunately they predate me.
Not me. I remember as a child standing on my tiptoes looking as the handguns in a wood-framed glass case at the True Value hardware store in the middle of town. This was in the mid-1960's.

Thanks for the kind words - pretty happy with the Russian side of the collection.

Now looking to close out the German portion of the collection.
Next on the list is a 1938-1944 Third Reich Police PPK.

Congrats on finishing a portion of the WW2 collection! I’m sad I won’t see anymore Russian arms as that‘s what keeps me ticking :D

maybe we will if we can get a decent president in who understands that corrupt Ukraine is not the hill we want to die on.
