I am looking for sources for M1 carbine parts, primarily the bolt components.
    Any good sources ?
My carbine has a minor issue that I hope to resolve.
    Thanks

There is a fellow in the MDTCA, Paul, that has tons of carbine parts and knowledge. He helped get both of mine running top notch. He's not on MDS though. I'll send you a PM with his contact info.

    Gents:
Thank you for the leads... I will follow up.
Riverbank armory has tons but believe it or not I have found alot on ebay - in packed grease original package. The bolt tool isn't expensive and I just bought plunger springs (20) in orig package for 12$, My M1's all fire perfect when every spring is replaced - its like a tune up!

Lots of folks out there claiming Riverbank regularly sells new, counterfeit parts as original USGI. Google them, you'll see a wide variety of stories from multiple sources.

Numrich is another good source, particularly for older stuff.
And Numrich offers a discount to C&R holders. The $30 for the FFL03 license has more than paid for itself with discounts from Numrich, Brownells, and elsewhere.

They also offer a lot of repro parts for many firearms so you have to be on the ball.

Wolff (gunsprings.com) has complete spring kits and offers a good discount for FFL-03's.
Fresh springs are usually a good idea :)
