If you need a kydex sheath (and aren’t looking for the oem version for collectibility), Doug Wilson of yellowhawk custom kydex makes a VERY nice sheath.

I've been keeping my eyes open. But, OEM kydex is not often seen, and has always been included with another knife.

Some of those pairings have been reasonably priced, though, on eBay.

Perhaps purchase one of those, to get the kydex, and then a nylon or non-OEM kydex for the newly-purchased knife, which would serve as a vehicle tool?
