    Finally got around to finishing one of my Stealth Arms frames. Used a 1911a1 kit from Sarco from when they had a sale. Now I need to try it out.

    Finally got around to finishing one of my Stealth Arms frames. Used a 1911a1 kit from Sarco from when they had a sale. Now I need to try it out.

    A simple test to see if it's put together right is to drop a glue stick down the barrel and see if the firing pin will shoot the glue stick a few yards. If it does that, it will probably fire a round when you get a chance to test it out.

    I built mine with an aluminum frame. Hundreds of rounds through it and no problems other than it doesn't particularly like flat nose ammo.
