Is the primary inquiry about J Frames , or Pockets ?
Title implies is anyone pocket carrying a J frame.
Just yet another dupe of a zillion threads already out there.
Can't wait until someone brings LCPs into it too. And a Khar or a G43 or 42. Or some sort of Charter Arms, maybe a Seecamp.

IMO, a terrific pocket carry combo, 649-2 in a Galco horsehide pocket holster.

How do keep from pulling the holster if you pocket carry? Ranger bands, skateboard tape or Sticky Holster trade name holster?
It's rough side out leather and the holster will hook on the inside of a pants pocket, so between the two, it stays put.. The holster does not "grab" the gun, but hold it securely. Not a great set up for tighter pants, but works great in looser clothing or jacket pockets, and does not print. The holster is very stiff for easy drawing and re-holstering.

Seriously, Bob Mika is the guru of Pocket Holsters .

Even though I'm not really a pocket holster guy ( because of reasons ) this reminds me to order a couple more while he's still alive .

I was considering a airweight J Frame once I goy my carry permit. Shot some rounds through one at the range as well as a few small 380s. I found the revolver to be to snappy and uncomfortable to shoot. I was dead set on this would be my pocket carry but I changed my mind after the range visit.
Settled on a 380 pistol for pocket carry.
