It’s not as hideous as a Sub2k. I like the Sub2k because it’s so ugly nobody would want to steal OR confiscate it. And you’ll never have to use it in self defense because no bad guy wants to risk having the muzzle of something that homely being the last thing they’ll see.

I think the ergos on the S&W are a bit better. Nothing wrong with the minimalist approach on the Keltec though. Both are the same idea.

My though is; If I am going to use pistol mags, then the mag in the hand grip is the way to go. I don't like AR PCCs with pistol mags; it's like putting a round peg in a square hole.

IDK - at least these have iron sights out of the box.

Sub2k - polymer feed ramp, not great ergos, not exactly pleasant to shoot, not a great trigger out of the box.

Between the 2 as an overall package, I'd choose the FPC (my dad did, it's been a fun pcc).

There was one at our last steel shoot, and the owner was generous enough to let me take it for a spin. It had a high "that's neat" factor. It was lighter than expected which concerned me a little about durability and quality, but that's subjective prejudice. Glocks are way lighter than 1911s, but still pretty good ;)

The main thing I didn't like was the size of the grip. I'm assuming it was small to handle compact magazines...which makes sense. I'd just rather have it full size.

I'll probably buy one eventually, but I don't feel a lot of urgency

My buddy got one and we sighted it in yesterday. He is happy with it. It fold up pretty small and the mags can be used in other S&W pistols. His ran 100% out of the 100 rounds he put through it. It does dirty up brass pretty good because it's blowback operated, he doesn't reload so no biggy. I think it should have come with a threaded barrel but also not a huge deal.
